​Pegah Ouji writes stories in Farsi and English. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming from the Hudson Review, Epoch, Joyland, Epiphany, Fugue, and Split Lip among others. She was a 2023 Editorial fellow at Roots.Words.Wounds, a 2024 Emerging Writer Fellow at Smokelong Quarterly and a 2025 PEN America Emerging Writer. She is pursuing an MFA at NC state university. Her story, the Unmeasurable, won first place in Hudson Review 2026 fiction contest.
