Welcome
Pegah Ouji writes stories in Farsi and English. She’s spent half of her life in Iran, half in America, and is not sure if she is Iranian American, or American Iranian, or if that even matters. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming from Epoch, Joyland, Epiphany, Fugue, Split Lip, Necessary Fiction, Isele, Takahe, Tiny Molecules among others. She was a 2023 Editorial fellow at Roots.Words.Wounds, a 2024 Emerging Writer Fellow at Smokelong Quarterly and a 2025 PEN America Emerging Writer.
