Welcome
Pegah Ouji is a writer, and an excellent day dreamer from Iran. She’s spent half of her life in Iran, half in America, and is not sure if she is Iranian American, or American Iranian, or if that even matters. She writes in Farsi and English. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming from Joyland, Epiphany, Fugue, Split Lip, Necessary Fiction, Isele, Takahe, Tiny Molecules among others. She was 2024 Emerging Writer Fellow at Smokelong Quarterly. Currently she is an editorial fellow at Roots, Wounds, Words and associate editor at Ironhorse Literary. These days, she lives in Oregon with her husband and two children, among many, many trees.
